Bushe's Coneflower is the only native Echinacea that is yellow. Also known as Ozark Coneflower, it is native to Central U.S. and the Ozark Mountain region in Arkansas and Missouri.
This yellow coneflower grows up to 2-3 feet tall and looks best in groups of 3 or more. It is host to Wavy-lined Emerald moth, attracts bees, butterflies, and finches.
Bushe's Coneflower does not like to be wet in winter. It should be placed in well-draining soil. Due to its long taproot, it can withstand drought once established. This plant will spread by seeds if the finches leave any!
