Helenium 'Mardi Gras' is known for its unusal color, blooming in July, the 2" blooms are yellow streaked with orange and red. This plant has a nice rounded form of 3'x3' at maturity and attracts a large variety of pollinators. Heleniums prefer moist soils and can tolerate wet soils. Reportedly deer resisitant. I will be testing that this year!

Toxic if ingested in large quantities. May cause contact dermatitis in sensitive skin.
