Wild Quinine blooms in small white round clusters to form a flat top of tall stems in late spring and has a long bloom period. Also called American Feverfew, it has a sturdy taproot, enabling it to withstand drought. It retains a coarse, leafy basal rosette through winter.
Wild Quinine flowers attract a wide range of pollinators, including beetles and beneficial wasps, and support caterpillars of 15 native species.
Wild Quinine is a perfect textural complement to taller blooming flowers such as Coneflowers or prairie grasses.
