Green and Gold ‘Pierre’ is an attractive evergreen ground cover. Fluffier, with less spread than ‘Eco Lacquer Spider’, ‘Pierre’ also has a slightly greener appearance. Though Green and Golds are typically woodland plants preferring part sun, they grow well in more sun in NC once established if provided adequate moisture. ‘Pierre’ makes a great plant for edging or front of border, attracting bees and butterflies and suppressing weed. Birds eat the seeds.
